I suspect it has something to do with access
rights to file for the apache user. I may have time to dig into this deeper another time but I am in the middle of a project right now and just need this working :)Gerry

If anyone using RH/CentOS could find the missing piece in our instructions we'd be most grateful.
But remember: we develop and test using Debian and Ubuntu only! :-)

Ok, so I have created a Ubuntu 12.04 server, installed Observium
precisely step by step on the
http://www.observium.org/wiki/Ubuntu_SVN_Installation webpage.
I then added a device from the command line (as superuser)
'./addhost.php koe-netapp02 KOE_RO v2c' and it went through fine. I
then did the './discovery.php -h all' and the './poller.php -h all'
commands and no errors came up.
I also added another device (koe-netapp01) using the web interface and
that went through fine as well.
Both of these are showing graphical traffic now o there must be
something going on in the RedHat/Centos config that is not covered in
the setup that is causing the problem I was having previously.
Thanks for your assistance with this.

guide step by step and had no errors with the process either. The
Poller is running and I am seeing from the cron log that it is doing
so and I also run it manually to see if i can get the data displayed.
I do see that there is traffic being recorded but for some reason it
is not being displayed. Since it is a new install I will wipe the
installation and start again from scratch and see if somehow I missed
a step.

I can say the issue is 99% likely to be fixed by following the install guide properly.

Hi Guys,_______________________________________________
I am having a problem displaying data in the graphs. If I select an
interface that has traffic reported and drill down to the graph I see
all the graph entries with -nan but if I select the RealTime graph I
can see the traffic flow. Can anyone explain why this would be and how
I can resolve this?
Thanks for any assistance with this.

Gerry
