Thanks for catching that!
It seems we still have OSes which are returning ugly port names.
Port naming behaviour varies quite greatly between different versions of 3com baseline switches. Sometimes you have to use ifName, sometimes ifName is empty!
I've increased the field size to accomodate the broken labels for the time being.

Anyone have any ideas? I’ve just done a forced SVN up to 6518 but it’s still occurring. My guess is it happened around 6514 which was what it was running this morning when it appears to have started.
