Hello,

the SVN commit mail from the observium-svn list yesterday (2015-06-04 16:46:51 +0200) crashed our mail server,

most likely because the subject was way too long. I don’t know, what script/hook you are using, but the standard

in RFC 2822, section 2.1.1. states that

“Each line of characters MUST be no more than 998 characters, and SHOULD be no more than 78 characters, excluding

   the CRLF”

The subject of said mail was way over 2000 characters. For now I unsubscribed from that list because I don’t want to kill

e-mail for everybody in the office once in a while, but can you have a look into this issue and tell me when it is fixed,

so I can resubscribe?

Thanks,

Michael Weinrich
