My mistake for my incorrect use of words
I am looking at replacing the current remote power switch we use as it is indeed old
could anyone recommend a brand/model that would be ideal ?
i need info from it like the graphs and charts of usage per power socket as these features are indeed missing from my old unit
i am willing to develop a module for observium if the brand doesn’t work with it if need be :)

It was already 10 years out of date when you got it then ;-)
I think ti's best to describe what you need instead of "i want to upgrade it for use with observium". Newer APC switched PDUs have current stats.
Ipoman have per-port current stats and an optional sensor module.
Probably a lot of other brands do to, we support some... but probably not all (yet) ;)

I have just discovered that myself… Thank you Tom :)
any devices that could possible replace the unit that would work with observium?
it might be time for an upgrade as we’ve had that switch for neally 3 years..

There are no sensors on an AP9606. There is nothing to graph or support.

Hi all,
We currently use an old APC power switch to remotely switch servers on and off and the observium can detect its an APC :-)
however i don’t get any graphs for it ?
no power usage? no temperature ? nothing ?
is the any form of graphs i could get outta it for use with the observium ?
the web card is an old AP9606 and the unit is an AP9212
