i hope you noticed that i am trying to integrate a WSMan client into Observium for the sake of VMware, Microsoft and

embedded OEM-OOB-Controller Coverage.

 

Frist things first... Is it problematic to hand you over Code which is based on the latest CE?

 

While i had a look into the capabilities of the WSMan-Providers of Windows, ESXi and Dell´s iDrac. I noticed that there

are a loads of Information which can be pulled, and made into lots and lots of features for Observium. For the unaware

this could bring Observium ahead over Nagios and Cacti in Terms of polling capabilities. I did not see any good implementations

but mine.

 

What i need now is a little bit of guidance and opinion of yours, in Terms of what to develope first.

 

You could easily get rid of most of your Windows and VMware Issues once and for all. Just tell me which Issues are most pressing.

So i can concentrate on the developement of right modules. Which are the most pressing gaps leftover by snmp, which could be filled by

WSMan?

 

Perhaps i will need some information on the internal workings from time to time.. is there a way to contact you on another way than the "support"

mailing list?

 

I am eager to continue my work on that matter, but i don´t want to waste my time developing something you will never implement.
