Hi There,
How can I make a bug report? The forum is
closed for registration, the bugtracker also, so I hope this is the correct way
and I can help in the future maybe, because the software is awesome!
I have the following situation:
The polling is done correctly and it shows
the same results as cacti for my switch. Buw when I add billing and make a bill
for a port with Quota the first time I add for example 20GB it shows like 20B.
If i then edit it it shows correctly as 20GB (so not 2.0E-8), so there is a
work around.
When I add a bill for multiple ports the
sum is totally wrong.
For example. I made a bill of 5 ports and 5
bills of each port, so I can check.
If a manually sum the 5 bills/ports I get around
80GB. But when I look at the SUMMED bill it says 1.47PB
I have added the billing feature this way:
http://www.observium.org/wiki/Billing
What am I doing wrong and if it is a bug
how can I correct it?
So there are 2 problems:
initial quota is set wrong, but can be
corrected. -> Bug with a work around
quota calculated to high values -> bug
or misconfiguration, but I can't find anything about it:
So you can see the sum of the 5 ports are
9.36Gbps and it are 5x 100MBit ports ;-)
The switch that I am monitoring is a HP2524
Thanks in advance!
