We are currently trialling Observium on several of network components and so far are impressed with the community version however threshold and state alerting is an important feature that would complete the package for us and enable us to deploy it network wide. With Careflight being a non-for-profit organisation and the IT department being a ‘cost’ department our budget is heavily scrutinised and any cost has to be suitably justified. Although we are impressed with Observium and believe it would be a great solution for monitoring our remote sites throughout Queensland, unfortunately we doubt that the cost would be approved by the higher powers as this is something that is currently ‘out of budget’. So this leads us to ask, would it be possible to get a discount/donation on the subscription charge for the professional version of Observium for CareFlight? Any help would be greatly appreciated and please feel free to contact us if you need to. Looking forward to your reply and thanks for your time.
