Yeah, we did have some people using it so we never removed it, just tried to hide it so no one new used it!

I consider it to be a bit of a coding abomination, but we've never gotten around to replacing it, since there's always something higher on the todo llist.

If you want to fix/improve things, that's fine.

Adam,

No problem. The code shows up in the daily pull.

What version are you running for the service stuff to still be visible? We deprecated/hid all of that stuff quite some time ago!

We were thinking of resurrecting it, though.

Would you be against us sending diffs for different check commands to add to the service check code. It may be long in the tooth but I have been very impressed with how easy it is to add different service checks. For instance I have added https, tomcat 8080, and tomcat 8443.

Thanks

We don't actually have any integration with nagios, and we don't have any ability to take data from zenoss (or, really, any other system).

Hi Adam,

Sorry for not being specific.  I was hoping that Observium could pull data information from Zenoss and put it on graphs – reorganize the data in a way that makes it easier to review.  With Zenoss sometimes there is to much information displayed, which can make it difficult to sort through.  I was reading that Observium integrates in some way with Nagios, I just didn’t know to what extent / the purpose.  So I figured I would see if there was any integration ability with Zenoss.  Thanks again for your assistance.

It's not clear what you mean, but I doubt anyone has done any form of integration at all.

Has anyone every integrated Observium and Zenoss together.  Zenoss is another networking monitoring platform, but the platform could use a more friendly GUI.  The Observium GUI is very nice.  Please let me know if this is possible.  I believe that Observium and Nagios integrates with one another, but our organization uses Zenoss.  Thank you. _______________________________________________
