Don't arse around trying to *tell* people what you've done. No one will believe you and you'll get ignored.

 

Demonstrate what isn't working. Post a screenshot of your non-working alert configuration. Show if it matched any sensors. Show what the alert status array (mouse over the (i)) is.

 

People on mailing lists get very tired of fishing for information. Present it all in the first mail and you'll get ten times as much interest in finding a solution.
