Hi all –
I’m having some issues with a Dell X1026P switch. It polls ports and VLANs, but doesn’t pull in processor info, status checks, etc. like our other switches of similar model in the Dell lineup or even show the Dell logo – its stuck on “Generic Device” with the mascot and question mark. I’m wondering if this switch’s snmp implementation just sucks, or if there’s a MIB or some snmpwalk specific output I can give that might help determine why observium doesn’t seem to understand what the switch is.
Thanks for any pointers in the right direction.
Rick
