Dear observium developer/suppoter!

I've new install Observium in Ubuntu 12.04 server. It had monitoring some device run snmp services. But now I want Observium monitor some software like: apache/mysql. I have done following instruction http://www.observium.org/wiki/Application/Apache but it not success. Can you instruction me more detail. Thank you very much.
