I'm not sure I understand the problem. That bar is fixed to the bottom of the page, so covers the bottom of the page by design.

I've just noticed a weird thing.
As you can see on this screenshot, the bar displaying the version number is hiding the bottom of the front page (at the right of the screenshot, aside 70,4 Mbps, you can see the top of a graphic hidden by the version bar)
I've tested with different browser
Not a big deal but at you least you are now aware
