On the 7793 we try to create a check that alert if the interface discards TX errors on our Nexus switch more than 0 per sec.

This error is real, we see it on Observium graphs (Device->Port->Error->Discards TX ) and on the switch’s CLI too.

We created this check but looks like it doesn’t work:

ifOutDiscards_rate notequals 0

We tried it with “gt 1” instead of "notequals 0” without result. :(

In an another check the ”ifInErrors_rate” is working, but the ifOutDiscards_rate not.

What we did wrong?
