The Open Source/Community edition will continue to be licensed under our existing Open Source license. It will be released every 6 months as a snapshot of the SVN repository in .tar.gz format. The Open Source edition will retain all of the commonly used features which have made Observium so popular, including the basic alerting system funded through Kickstarter.

Latest (and first) CE release was in october 2013. :-)

Hi Jonathan,

I assume you installed the community edition? The alerts system is not in the CE yet, it will be on its next release - until then it's only in the subscription version.
