For VMware through SNMP the rewritten code is in Observium. But I'm not sure what versions of ESX still supply this info - I don't have any code (yet?) for VMWare's CIM. Not sure how to approach that yet :-)

Hi,

VMWare is a tiny bit of a pain since they removed a lot of SNMP support. Tom is currently writing code to collect virtual machine information, which is either already released or should be committed soon.

Morning all

New to observium and new to the list.

Set it up yesterday and still feeling my way around, but I am pretty impressed so far.
Is there a basic setup guide to monitor VMWare, somewhere?

Sure I will be asking more questions as time passes :D

Lastly how do I get in touch with the guys from Observium?
Can't find contact info anywhere.
