That is showing the maximum value we ever saw fora 5 minute poller cycle during the graph period.

Hi!
Sorry for what might be an obvious question for some of you. Have just gotten observium installed and it is monitoring our fw and sw.
When I look at the firewall outside port I get a graph of how much traffic that max/min has been sent out/in. But there is also a shaded value, that I cannot figure out what it is.
