Eaton Monitored ePDU SNMP Setup Instructions Last Updated: June 8, 2009 The SNMP interface on Eaton Monitored ePDUs is always enabled. Here are a few tips to get the interface up and runnning: 1) Only SNMPv1 is supported. Many SNMP browse programs default to SNMPv2 and must be manually set to v1 in order to browse the unit. 2) Read and Write community strings default to "public" and "private", respectively. These defaults can be changed from the Configuration page in the web interface. 3) MIB-II System variables are supported, as well as objects in the EATON-EPDU-PU-MI-MIB module.
