Just to let you know that Brocade FCX series switchs don’t have the necessary MIBs to supervise/monitor transceivers. This is the outcome of a case I opened with their TAC :

 

“….as I wanted to demonstrate to you that the specific OIDs you are looking for are not supported at all for any of the releases of the fastiron code.

 

In the documentation, you will find the prefix 'brcdIp' for every Brocade MIB. But as you have noticed yourself, they are the same.

 

As stated before, my recommendation is opening a RFE from your side along with your account team.”

 

So, I guess I will have to open an RFE for this… in 2017 !?!
