Hi,
thanks for the reponse. I wonder what changed between the previous release and this one, because that behaviour wasn't present before, and I trust this interval setting isn't new?
Marking all "ignore until ok" manually for hundreds of alerts is a bit tedious. Isn't there something I can put in the checker that will lead to the alert being notified only once when it occurs? Like a condition that references the time the change occurred?

You are receiving reminder alerts due to the following setting:
$config['alerts']['interval'] = 86400; // How frequently to re-send a notification for a continuing alert condition
This will trigger another notification every 86400 seconds (24hrs). This is the deault value.
If you didn't want to alter the reminder notification interval, you probably want to mark wach alarmed item as "ignore until OK". This will suppress any reminders for that alert whilst it is in the current state. If the state of the port/alert changes, the suppression will disable and you will receive the reminder alerts again until you ignore it.
Cheers,
Michael

Hi,
on Sept 28th I updated one installation to the new CE release (17.9.0). Since then, Observium keeps sending me interface down/up alerts for every single port on every single switch and router, once every day between 11:20 am and 11:35 am (a bunch every 5 minutes).
The alerts look like this:
<PastedGraphic-1.png>
They serve to notify me if anyone connects or disconnects something in my absence. That worked well for a year or so, until I did this update. Now I get 114 emails every day at the same time.
What could be the cause, and how can I solve that?
