What version of edgeOS are you using? We had to upgrade switches to get it to work correctly, but all the current firmware will allow spaces and brackets correctly.

Problem is that when the interface is parsed the description comes up as just description CUSTJOHNSONSAAPT_NWBL250M1736079 which clearly is not going to be parsed correctly by Observium. Wondering if anyone has come across this previously and can pint me in the direction of a solution/workaround.
