Gosh I think this is a momentous occasion. The first time someone has produced a walk of a device they'd like supported which actually includes the enterprise oids involved *and* has the respective MIBs loaded! And all without having it explained twice first! ;D

But, this device seems fairly complex, and not that common amongst our user base. We'll likely add basic detection and versions from it, but we don't have the resources to add everything everyone wants, so we probably won't implement it much beyond the basics.

You can try to bribe one of the development team with hard currency if you want more details from it, though! ;)

Adam.

Subject: [Observium] Request for Nutanix MIB support

Hi

It would be awesome if there could be support for Nutanix on Observium.

And their Hypervisor Acropolis (KVM based)

https://portal.nutanix.com/#/page/docs/details?targetId=Web_Console_Guide-Acr_v4_5:wc_system_snmp_wc_t.html#task_a58_4f6_20

When I add my Nutanix CVM’s (the controller VM that handles everything)it shows as a generic Linux machine.

What can I do to help?

Med Vänlig Hälsning
