We are interested in implementing delegation of administration. Could someone explain how it is implemented by sharing a functional example / template ? What is the minimum version to implement this ?

I presume the issue causing the slowdown is access checking to see if the user is allowed to access the device. For admin users, the entire check is skipped as they can always access everything, which is why it would be faster when using an admin user.
This is something we'll have to look into speeding up, if my guess is correct...
