The other problem I encountered was write permissions to the directory I wanted the maps to go into. Both the web server and whatever user you are running the map-poller under.

Otherwise that git repo is working fine for me after replacing the older git repo on centos under php 70 (i-us release) and 72 (the scl release). The referenced line in definitions.inc.php is looking for mcrypt under php 70, but you probably have php-mcrypt or observium wouldn’t  be working, would it?

If you run the php page from the command line on the server it will tell you exactly what line is erroring

Check for php*-mysqlnd ? Old version used a different version that wasn’t available in newer phps...
