Thanks for your responses Michael and Tom!
As a subscriptoin-user it seems that I just had to update from r.8181 to the latest... Currently on r.8982 and power consumption (and other useful info) showed!
Next step... HP with Windows using the HP Insight Management Agents.

Hi Dion,
We'll likely add extra HP data via the agent soonish (I will if nobody beats me to it). It already does monitor quite a few things, but likely they are different from what's being provided by your server, then.
As Michael noted in his followup post, you can also monitor this (including power consumption, right now!) via IPMI by adding the ILO's IPMI details into the device configuration. However, polling via the SNMP agents is a lot faster than via IPMI so consider it a (temporary) workaround for this :-)

Thank you all for any response and for the great observium tool!
I was wondering if obserium could monitor my HP Proliant power consumption (on Linux server). During my initial search I found 2 items in JIRA:
http://jira.observium.org/browse/OBSERVIUM-476 and http://jira.observium.org/browse/OBSERVIUM-1834
After installing the hp-snmp-agents and activating them in SNMP I see information in snmpwalk (using this as resource: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:- mM1kr6Ubv0J:thejimmahknows.com/linux-hp-proliant-snmp- agent-setup/+&cd=1&hl=nl&ct=clnk&gl=nl&client=firefox-b)
But unlike JIRA issue-1834 suggests only very few information was added. 59m 28s srv01 Asset_tag -> 59m 28s srv01 Serial -> CZJ2XXXXXX 59m 28s srv01 Hardware -> HP ProLiant ML350 G6 x86 [64bit]
When looking at the following Nagios check a lot more information could be added: https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Plugins/Hardware/Serve r-Hardware/HP-%28Compaq%29/check_hp/details
Has anybody tried adding extra information for HP servers? Is it possible to add the power consumption to Observium, and if yes, how?
Thanks in advance!
