And don't forget to disable the old server if it auto updates, else the account may get blocked :)

Tom,Thanks. I just wasn’t sure weather I needed to use the license again. I am moving to a vm. It was my original observium, and I just turned it down, moved to a physical machine. Now that machine needs to go, and so I wanted to activate the original (pre-license).
So if copying my /opt/observium is all, that’s great.
Thanks!Ryan

Hi Ryan,
You can simply copy /opt/observium to the new machine and set up the cron jobs again, it should just work.
Unless you're going to a different CPU architecture, in which case there is some rrd import/export to be done.

Hi, I am having to move my Observium installation to a new server. I have the paid version of Observium, and am basically taking an older version and want to use my existing license. What is the proper path to make this move?
Thanks,Ryan
