Hi Rudolf,

Contact method = email
Contact endpoint = the email address

Cheers,
Tom

Hello Tom,

Could you please give me an example of your alert_contacts table? Not sure what to do with contact_method and contact_endpoint?

Thank you!

Rudolf

Hi Rudolf,

There is no GUI to do it yet (patiently waiting!), but you can modify the alert_contacts and alert_contacts_assoc tables in the database to set up custom contacts for individual alerts.

Tom

Hello Community,

I have some questions regarding email alerts with Observium:
  1. I would like to know whether it is possible to get Observium to alert different email addresses for certain triggers? Possible via the config file?
  2. Will Observium try and email the “contact” email address in the SNMP field “contact”?
Thanks,

Rudolf
