Hi all,

I have an issue with rsyslog after adding the script 30-observium.conf to /etc/rsyslog.d.

Before that, rsyslog is logging, as expected, all the local events to /var/log/messages and /var/log/syslog.

After installing the script and restarting rsyslogd all the remote events are logged to MySQL and you can see them in Observium, but local events are not logged anymore.

Seems to be an issue with the script for Observium in /etc/rsyslog.d and I got the same issue in a fresh installation, so I believe anyone else may had the same problem.

The first installation is a TurnKey VM based in Debian Jessie. The second one is based in Debian testing (stretch). Both systems use rsyslogd 8.xx.

I used the script recommended in Observium´s website.

Any advice?
