The idea is, there are some scheduled tasks running on a Linux server. We can have each task do something on completion, like write a file somewhere, write to a log, post to a database, etc. We want to see if Observium can watch for something like that and alert if it doesn't occur.

Method is completely undecided at this point so any ideas are much appreciated.
