This sounds like a mismatch between rrdtool and rrdcached.

I.e. rrdtool being upgraded without rrdcached being updated and/or restarted.

You definitely want rrdtool 1.6 though. It's faster.

They all broke when https://yum.opennms.org/stable/rhel7/rrdtool/ pushed up 1.6 from 1.5.5

 

The rrdtool files are all fine, as a simple downgrade immediately displays them all, all the files have their historical information.

There shouldn't really be any issue with 1.6, since that's what most people are running these days.

The only thing I can think of which would cause it is the rrdtool package, though! oO

This error is an error from rrdtool related to the RRD format.

I don't see how we can do anything to affect this.

Sadly I didn’t notice when, I did recently upgrade to revision 8417, however these aren’t graphs I frequently look at.  Anybody else with netscalers in their environment at the same revision?
