managed to fix my hip chat notifications myself,
they have changed the API slightly!
the is a max limit on the FROM of 25 characters now
also my php.ini is already set as error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE as per instructions on website :P

am i missing something or has something changed?
