There are no issues running Observium on 13.10, but the installation instructions are not correct/complete for the latest Ubuntu fu^H^Hrelease.

The required changes were discussed just a few days ago on this very mailing list.

Graphs not working is not caused by that, though.
Luckily this issue is fully explained here: http://www.observium.org/wiki/FAQ#My_graphs_don.27t_work

Hello.

Thanks for reply.

My idea was something on the lines with the following.

If the free version worked with the 13.10 release and subscription release is more or less 6 months newer then that should have better support for 13.10 than free version.

I could be wrong though.

What kind of errors are people experiencing when using 13.10?

Gustav,

I’m by no means one of the experts, but in the Installation guide it has this listed. You may want to start with using Ubuntu 13.04.
Ubuntu 13.10

The new release of Saucy Salamander from Ubuntu has changed enough things that following the installation guide below will not leave you with a working installation. We currently recommend installing using 13.04.

Hello.

I installed the free version to get some feel for the software and after that went for a subscription.

When I updated the release the graphs stopped working.

I installed JPgraph and don’t have the warning but for some reason the Graphs stay blank.

Running fresh install of Ubuntu 13.10

I deleted the hole observium folder together with Apache webserver (I imagined I missed a step somewhere or similarly)

And then reinstalled from fresh

Still cant get the graphs to show.

It polls nicely and I get the RRD files but for some reason it seems that they don’t end up being graphed.

Any ideas?
