[Observium] Device status changed to Down due to SNMP timeout

Dear Observium,

I am running the professional edition of Observium. Due to snmp timeout, some devices are considered to be "down" intermittently. I have tried to tweak the snmp timeout but it still happen.

My question is: can I use ping only, and ignore snmp timeout to detect device up/down ?
