Yeah, just reinstall the whole system.
Always better to start with a clean system. I tested the install script on Debian 11 yesterday and it produces a working install.

Hi Toky,
Unless you're absolutely sure you can undo what you did manually to start afresh, it's probably best to reinstall the entire machine. You can use the SVN credentials again on the new machine without issues.

Do you mean reinstall the debian 11 and then the install script or just reinstall the observium with the actual situation, what about the SVN username and password already inserted, can we use it for the second time?

Reinstall the system using the install script. This definitely works.

It's getting worse after applying this command
I tried to remove the device and add two ones (switches) then we get: draw error and speed unknown

It seems Debian 11 also has some python changes.
Do:
apt install python3-pymysql python-is-python3

I used the install guide as the automatic script gave us back an error
so how can we make the users created to own the rrd directory
Thanks and Regards

Did you install using the install guide, or the install script?
If installed using the install script, did you add and then poll the devices as root? (creating the rrd directory as root, which the poller running as Observium won’t be able to write to?)
The install script does a slightly better install, creating an observium user to own the rrds and run the poller.
It’s probably permissions, the rrd directory and all contents must be owned by the user which runs the poller. You can’t poll as root, as it’ll break instructions.
