The Windows services stuff should only be in pro, but if you’re lucky, Mike didn’t disable it in the most recent CE build, since I don’t remember telling him to!

It does indeed allow you to alert on service status.

You can also do it via the probes system, which is also Pro-only.

Hi Everyone,

I’m on an old build of the community edition, 20.9.10731 (22nd September 2020). Noted in the demo on the website Observium can monitor windows services on windows servers.

If I upgrade to the latest community edition does that come with the ability to monitor windows services or do I need to go to the paid edition ? if so can I use an alert checker to send an email if a specific windows service changes its status from running to anything other than running ?

Regards,
