[Observium] Graphs are showing 13MB throughput on a 6MB link

Just noticed that the bandwidth graphs are not reporting the correct throughput. I.e. a 6MB T-1 link is showing 13MB on the Out. This router is a Cisco 7204VXR. I just tried updating to the current version of Observium, patched the OS, and rebooted but no change. Thoughts?
