OpenBSD snmp works well on Observium.
(It is not net-snmp or bsnmp, but their own stack).

I'm not sure if we'll recognise snmpd. The last time I looked at OpenBSD SNMP was with net-snmpd.
You might want to check the sysobjectid and sysdescr sent to see if we need to add it.
