I will keep that in mind ;)
Is there a specific eos where it had that problem? Or is it generic?
Does this also goes for the bgp mib?

Whilst OSPF-MIB support does exist on Arista devices, it is currently disabled as as default and requires a hidden command to enable because there are bugs in the underlying SNMP/routing code that can crash the whole OSPF process.

It's recommended that you do not enable OSPF-MIB if you want your device to continue participating in your OSPF network. :)

Arista is providing an OSPF-mib so I think they do…

Arista devices don't do OSPF-MIB currently; keep your eyes open for a release in the near future which does.

Re config tab... if your hostname in observium is the same as in rancid, it should work...

Hi Addam,

I have checked. It should us the OSPF-MIB, but I think that because the device identifier is arista-eos it doesn't look for routing data?

As for the config tab. Not sure why that never should happen. It does it with cisco and juniper devices…

OSPF data showing relies upon OSPF-MIB being populated by the device.

The routing tab won't show unless routing-protocol data has been found for that device.

As for the config tab... That should never happens :)

Hi we have added a couple of arista devices to observium.
But we are missing a few things.
Ospf neighbours are not showing.
The routing tab on the device page is not showing
And the config tab is not coming up on the device page.

Are we doing something wrong? Or is it something we can easily fix?

Kind regards,
maarten
