So I added a firewall (Fortinet) and it shows as added, looks like it does two polls so it gets some data then nothing after that. Nothing in the logs on the Observium side. All charts show "error drawing graph" but it does show list of ports, processors, etc.
Before I deleted and readded there was a host showing up as _gateway in the list of firewalls - but I never added that, and it appears it was the same firewall as it's syslog was getting caught there. So it's like Observium changed the name or something. Now this is not happening after I trashed and re-added it, so that's a little weird.
Is there another level of debug to crank up why it's not collecting any data on the SNMP side?
There is no RRD folder for this particular host either, and off this collector we have dozens of other devices working just fine, so there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the remote poller box. Super confused!!

Ive been chasing this problem for hours and see what is going on, no clue why.
I have a host that is in DNS and added to Observium, syslog is not being collected. Digging around more I also see a _gateway device in Observium (I have never added this). This device actually appears to be the one I am having issues with.
I removed the device and readded, it polls the device once it looks then the rrds area created as _gateway and not the actual device name, so that's why the GUI is not showing anything I am guessing.
In this install the gateway is the same firewall that I am trying to add that is showing up as _gateway. We have no _gateway anywhere in the config and nothing in the local hosts file or DNS. So I am a lost as to what is going on here.
Has anyone seen this or have a clue what is going on??
