Just Found an issue,

the tp-link router I added isn’t being discovered every 3 hours like my other routers and equipment ?

according to the Discovery Times, it hasn’t run in days!

I understand the FTTC line is abit dogie but that wouldn’t stop the discovery from running on this device (getting BT to fix the line is IMPOSSIBLE! tried for months)

also if i run the discover manually on the device its taking about 200 seconds and runs fine, even shows in the discovery times table that i ran it manually ?

any ideas where i look why its not running?

Simon

Try with latest revision (r6979).
(Of course if you use professional edition) :)

Hi,

can you add TP-Link TD-W8960N as a TP-Link ADSL router at all ?

its currently being detected as Unix device :(

sysObjectID = .1.3.6.1.4.1.16972
sysDescr = 1.1.1 Build 141107 Rel.34856

with the TD-W8960N ADSL routers, I can now actually customise the sysName, snmp_community, sysContact and location for SNMP

it also uses version 2c of snmp too :D

The switch we can detect. The router seems to be reporting a bogus sysobjectid.

Do the routers support adsl-mib?

Hi,

we like to monitor some of our ADSL routers and Switches

these are TP-Link devices, but the observium only picks them up as generic devices!?

I’ve created a custom os.inc.php to include a tplink device and icon

could you possible put it in the SVN professionally :-)

Some info below from an ADSL router if its required:

sysDescr -> TD-W8901G
sysName -> tp-link
sysObjectID -> .1.3.6.1.4.1.1.2.3.4.5

Some Info below from a SWITCH, again if required:

sysDescr -> 24-Port Gigabit Smart Switch
sysName -> tl-sg2424
sysObjectID -> .1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.1.1.13
