You can't really do it after the fact, that's why it's useful to do it before.

snmpbulkwalk -v2c -c public -M mibs/rfc:mibs/apc -m ALL <host> .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.3

Once you've found the right stuff, you can use -On to get it to give you the walk with numbers.

Mm. I know Adam. God knows I try every time. And, I fail miserably everytime as well. =( Sorry.

ran it with this:
snmpwalk -v2c -c public xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -m PowerNet-MIB -M /opt/observium/mibs:/opt/observium/mibs/apc 1.3.6.1.4.1

Not entirely sure what the proper command would've been? Can update the pastebin if I get proper output. =)

How do you do this "post" snmpwalk? What did you do to resolve the numbers?

Those are the configuration OIDs. The correct ones are :

PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusOutletName.1 = STRING: "Testing server"
PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusOutletState.1 = INTEGER: outletStatusOn(1)

BTW, please try to do walks with MIBs loaded. It's somewhat less than optimal to get explosions of numbers as walks.

Think i was pretty nice that digged out them on separate lines as well. heheheheh =)

Outlets off:
iso.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.3.3.1.1.4.1 = INTEGER: 2
iso.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.3.3.1.1.4.2 = INTEGER: 2

Outlets on:
iso.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.3.3.1.1.4.1 = INTEGER: 1
iso.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.3.3.1.1.4.2 = INTEGER: 1

God, that's horrendous.

Reporting the status of multiple things on one OID is horrific, and explains why we don't currently support it. You'd probably need to be really nice to Mike to get this supported...

Looking in the paste I would say yes,

  1. iso.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.4.2.2.0 = STRING: "On  On  On  On  On  On  On  On

I turned 1 & 2 off and looked again:
iso.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.4.2.2.0 = STRING: "Off Off On  On  On  On  On  On  "

Hello

Any chance of getting support for the individual outlets on a PDU like the APC AP7920B? This so you can see and monitor if it's on or off.  I think I've asked the same for other APC PDU's (AP8981) in the past but can't find that thread so not sure what was said then.

I've tried to do an snmpwalk but I think you'll scream at me once again. I'll never learn/remember this. =/ Please go easy on me and point me in the right direction if this sucks:

This is how it looks in observium today:
