It’s not that important. The asset management guys figured out they can pick the info from Observium’s devices api instead.

You likely need to convince someone (probably Mike) that it’s worth collecting that data.

 

It’d be moderately trivial to collect the serial/model data and put it into inventory.

 

We have a bunch of other stuff we’re in the process of adding at the moment, though.
