Ohh, I see...
We will give it a try, and report back with the outcome.
Thanks, Tylla

Hi Tylla
This is what I was talking about - see below one
You install the hp-snmp-agents module, restart snmp or server and then observium just picks up the data automatically in the snmp :)

Hi, Its possible to do via net-snmp. You need to add the HP linux repo for debian and install "hp-snmp-agents", the repo is found here: https://downloads.linux.hpe.com/SDR/project/mcp/
hp-snmp-agents will inject the raidcontroller-data in the net-snmp daemon and Observium will pick it up

Hi, we are using Debian Linux on stock PC, only with HP raid controllers. The hpacucli utility is already installed, but we would need an example from the Unix agent to be able to match the output from hpacucli to the output needed by the Unix agent. If I'm not mistaken your approach injects the raid values into the normal snmp namespace, this would be awesome as well, but I don't know whether (and how) this can be achieved on a normal Linux with net-snmp daemon. Hi, What OS are you using? We have a Proliant SE316M1R2 running Proxmox and if you download the 'hp raid snmp module' and install it, Observium picks up the raid array without issues <PastedGraphic-1.png> Regards Simon

We would like to slightly enhance the Unix agent hdarray script (which provides infos about the local RAID controllers). Actually we would like to add support for some HP controllers, but to make things simpler we would need some nice output from the script. So if some of you have some RAID controllers supported by this script would you mind sharing some output of this script?
