If you use rancid from REPO it will not update. There is a known issue.

 

You can get around it by excluding rancid and the Perl lib that is in conflict

 

exclude=rancid* perl-Perl4-CoreLibs*

 

Otherwise, no issues. I use PHP7 from a different repository.
