Hi,
Actually, observium-dev is for development, observium@ is for "user" discussion ;)

I have added support for aruba networks controllers and access points.

One thing which is a bit unusual is that the aruba access points don't have an SNMP agent themselves. Instead you can get information about each access point from the controller it is connected to. I added support for the access points in a similar manner to getting information about ports of a switch.
I attempted to keep the code consistent with the organization and style of the rest of observium, but I'm sure there are changes that should be made. I'm not particularly attached to any specific choices I made, other than that I'd love to see the code included in observium so that we can continue to collect statistics about our wireless network using the mainline code.
If you would like access to a controller to test against, I can poke a hole in our firewall for one or two of the core observium developers to access the controllers via snmp.
I'd also be happy to make any changes myself and resubmit if there are things blocking adding the code.
Thanks, Ethan
