I do it in my home lab where performance isn’t an issue to me as i only have a few devices - it works fine enough but you should be aware that the performance impacts and my only caveat would be to either:


1) only enable it on the devices you want/need it for (and keep that count low)
2) only monitor a small number of devices

the main concern is that your polling needs to complete before the next polling jobs would start because you can get into forkbomb/DoS scenarios as the poller scripts don’t have any locking functions so you can get huge amounts of threads backed up and kill your server requiring hard reboot…
