Thanks Adam.

In that case, can we write a script and have a cron job to convert the RRD's in question to a CSV, and have another monitoring tool to pool the CSV regularly?

If so, what RRD-to-CSV tool would Observium users usually use here?

Thanks.

Hi,

We don't yet support alerting from arbitrary metrics in graphs.

It's a little long winded to explain why, but these graphs aren't associated with an entity and their data doesn't exist anywhere outside of the RRDs, so they aren't yet visible to the alerting system.

Hi Adam,

Can you give us some inputs and insight on this one?

It's observed that Observium does NOT support having firewall session counts alerts.  Is that true?

Thanks.

Hi all,

We are looking for a way to generate alerts from Observium (19.1.9661) when exceeding certain number of sessions on a Cisco firewall.

Is it something easily achievable?

Thanks.
