Hey Adam, to add a bit more info for you...
The UBNT wireless controller (UniFi) does not have any snmp, only the physical UniFi wireless access points do. And I agree, it barely constitutes snmp. They just now (supposedly) released "basic snmp support" for these AP's in their firmware update that just happened this past Wednesday http://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Updates-Blog/UniFi-3-2-1-is-released/ba-p/872360, 6/11.
What most of us are after is snmp support for their AirMax line of products, which are point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless links. In their current beta line, which has been brewing for a few months now, they introduced official support for snmp and have a few MIB's dedicated to their product lines. Similar to what you've mentioned, they have a ubnt specific mib that functions across devices and then another mib with AirMax specific items. I have provided the mib from the first beta (which as since been updated) but it provides a decent idea of what's going on. A number of us can provide you with the most current mib's if desired. They also use a number of standard linux mib's as that is what their firmware is based on.

We currently have 2 wireless AP controllers with varying levels of os-specific support.
The giant clusterfuck that is the existing code for these two would need to be rewritten around a generic model capable of accepting all types of APs and controllers before we'd be willing to add any more.
It would be quite a large amount of time to do, and probably would require a lot more familiarity with the operation of APs and controllers than we currently have.

I'd be willing to pay something to get UBNT support.

A number of us in the mailing list and the ubnt forum have been chatting about this since 5.6beta came out. Looking for Tom and/or Adam to weigh in. A few of us are willing to sponsor this to make it happen. Just need to see a number.

Would it be possible to support the new Ubiquiti MIB? That is really the only thing holding me back from buying the paid version.
Thanks!
