I can’t really help much with that. I’ve not used it, and it wasn’t created by us. It’s difficult to guess why someone else’s code might not work. J

Technically you don’t really need integration to use weathermap though, you can just point it at the relevant RRDs for the ports you want and use INOCTETS and OUTOCTETS as the DS.

Not a lot of effort to set up with a moderate number of interfaces.

Hi Adam,

Thank you for your reply.  I had already tried Woflgang's git repo but although there are no errors running the map-poller.php it will not pick up any nodes from the database. Any ideas?  I would really like to get this working before your release because our business has been relying on it as a quick visual source of monitoring bandwidth.  Also, when will you likely release an official version?

Looking forward to hearing from you

Best Regards

Mati

Hi Mati,

The weathermap stuff was done a very long time ago by a third party and there are a few versions of it floating around, only one of which works properly on current versions of Observium.

I’ve never used the external integration, but as far as I know the version on Wolfgang’s GitHub still works.

We are working on integrating it properly with more changes, though. That’s probably a better solution, though it’s not ready yet. :)
