5.3.0.3 is the corporate standard - no chance of updating from there. SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = STRING: Ethernet Routing Switch 4526GTX-PWR HW:01 FW:5.3.0.3 SW:v5.7.2.013 BN:13 (c) Avaya Networks
Any other suggestions?
Cheers,

Hi David,
I believe we already support collection of sensors on that device. (this is contained within S5-CHASSIS-MIB)
The firmware needs to be newer than 6.2 though, apparently.

This maybe a question that has been answered a million time but I've not been able to find an answer.
I have an Avaya 4524 switch that is not in a climate controlled environment. I wish to graph the temperature within Observium.
I know the OID is 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.6.3.7.1.1.5 and the calibration is .5 degreee. ( ie. 70 = 35 degrees) I can view this in the switches GUI and by snmpwalk.
I have confirmed Observium is using the correct MIB for the device.
Can someone point me to a newbie guide. (My php skills are minimal)
