I'm not near my Observium install at the moment, but it looks like you are trying to match when the conditions are BOTH le and ge to the thresholds.
Try separating the conditions, or even place them into different alert checkers (just to prove the conditions are matching correctly).

I’m trying to configure alerts checkers for our transceivers sensors. Checkers have to be as generic as possible as we run, probably like you, all kinds of gear (routers / switchs / servers / etc.).

It seems something is wrong with the top 3 checkers. Either I’m too generic and sensor_values I have don’t apply or sensor_class I’m using is not the right one !?!
